Dynamic Rotor Measurement

The LDW & Associates Dynamic TIR system is based on the Campbell Scientific CR9000 datalogger and new CR9052 digital filter module.

    The following is a non-exhaustive list of the brake system parameters that can be measured
  • Total Indicated Runout (TIR)
  • Disc Thickness Variation (DTV)
  • Brake Hydraulic Pressure
  • Lining Temperature
  • Brake Activation
  • Vehicle Acceleration
  • Wheel and/or Vehicle Speed
  • Rotor Position
  • Distance
A portable oscilloscope allows the engineer to view the accelerometer and/or rotor traces in real time.
